Happy (re)Discoveries

~ August 24, 2007 at 15:18 (Views: 21)

Thanks to MyStrands' recommendations, I recently rediscovered two Indigo Girls songs that I listened to a lot about 10 years ago: Get Out The Map on Shaming Of The Sun and Power Of Two on Swamp Ophelia. These weren't the songs that made my recommendations list, but that's all right, because having the album names jogged my memory. I tend to like only about one-third to half of the songs on any given Indigo Girls' offering, so I've never bought one of their albums. (Hence the reason that songs I do like fell off my radar.) Even though the recommended songs didn't light my fire and I'm not going to run right out -- or dial right up -- and buy the albums they're on, I'm really happy to have added these two songs, with their hopeful lyrics and gorgeous harmonies, to my music library.
