I listened to the Original diamonds and rust when I was fifteen and loved it, though I didn't really appreciate the eloquence or pain in her words then as much as now. NAPTSTER brought this song to me in 2002 or 03, and it was shared with a few good friends... then as always (who backs up gigs of toons?) the old HD died and ... gone.

Mary Chapin Carpenter released 'The Calling" this week and it spurred me on to re-locate this song. THANKS to whomever put this link up! It's helped me to locate the album...which I am now PURCHASING via Amazon (best price between them, B&N, and BestBuy all of whom ship) .... and also I am not a mystrands user!
