The now playing and next up tracks also appear regularly at the bottom of the partyStrands display.

Message from the host

Let your guests know what’s happening with messages on the party screen.

Instructions

When you run a text message-enabled partyStrands party, the party screen displays instructions that tell your guests how to join, vote, and add more favorite artists to the mix.

If you’re running without text messaging, your guests can join through the partyStrands host interface that you used to start the party.

Chat screen

When everyone’s participating, extra messages appear! Your guests can play around with who can show the wittiest (or wildest) message.

A list of all the messages from the party will appear on your MyStrands page so people can check out the interactions when the party’s over.

This feature is not available when text messaging is not enabled.

Pictures

Along with playing music and showing messages, you and your guests casn create an instant slide show on the partyStrands screen. You can start with pictures of the guest of honor, and add pictures of the guests at the party. It’s as easy as dragging pictures to the host interface—do so, and new pictures will appear soon.

Remember, all the pictures you show at the party will appear on your MyStrands web page.

Most Requested

The most requested screen shows which artists are the favorites of guests at the party.

Who’s in the party?

See a selection of the guests at a glance. Guest avatars and nicknames flash in and out throughout the evening.

Vote Screen

At a text-enabled party, you can hold votes for favorite music, favorite color, or favorite romantic picture. Set up a vote and it appears on the party screen.
