Inna Crisis

Section chant

Section rythmique
Mathieu Roth 23 ans, Basse.

Maxime Gianinetti 24 ans, Batterie.

Samuel Ricucci 25 ans, Guitare.

Section cuivre
Nicolas Coutaz 21 ans, Trompette.

Fabian Claeys 25 ans, Saxophone.

Interview Inna Crisis

"The time is now", your first album has just been releases, what does that mean to you?
« The time is now » brought us a lot of experiences and happy moments, our work got concrete. It was a time of emotions between happiness and stress for each one of us.

The album has been recorded at BBM studio Lausanne by Totor and mixed by Antonello Lubello Bass player of Mad Ligthers? How was this collaboration?
We met Totor during the recording of the first Demotape and had a good felling at once, he’s very professional and meticulous.
Marc Ismail introduced Antonello to us. Marc is a future journalist and wrote his Diploma about Reggae in Switzerland. Antonello is great. He introduced us to Vincent Tripet and Gwenaël Bonfanti, who are at our concerts now.
The four month at studio were very stressful, but really enriching and each day full of emotions, good vibes.

The album is auto-prduced, what does that mean for you and what is your aim?
Freedom and Opening.
We want to be open for other regions and play more and more concerts. And we want to work harder to get the next CD in better quality.

The album is dedicated to Sougalo Coulibali. Who is it and what’s your relation to him?
Sougalo Coulibali was for shure the best percussion player of the world, Joël Blanchut learned the art of percussion with him. Sougalo invited Joël in his family in Africa to teach him. We wanted to give a special thank to this master, who’s death affected a lot of people.

"The time is now" – for what? What’s your general message?
It’s time to…act upon one’s convictions.
Our message is against violence, for ecology, respect, against war and the problems of this planet. It’s time to live and get concious of living.

Your musical future, in Switzerland an foreign countries?
After touring in our region, we would like to meet the rest of Switzerland. We’d like to play concerts in german part and in and around Geneva, to see how our sound will be accepted. And of course, we hope to cross the borders once…..

How is a Inna Crisis concert?
For us it’s a pleasure, a mixture of fun and stress.
It’s one of our aims to share this special moments.

Your intentions at live concerts?
We hope to get more presence on stage and to spread our message and our music. We want to reach a direct contact to the audience.

What are you expecting from your audience and what can they expect from you?
We don’t expect anything, maybe some approval, if we deserve it.
The audience may expect an exchange. We’ll give everything and hope to spread the good vibes.

What do you think about reggae.ch and what do you expect?
Switzerland needs such sites, it’s a really good initiative, complete and interesting.
Thanks to reggae.ch, we hope to get contacts, to make us known and get introduced to other regions. The homepage is in three languages, another positive point.

What’s on your homepage www.innacrisis.ch?
