Oil Company Blues

I guess I put that wrong, it is the US oil stuck blues. First thing, so they make 40+ billion a year in profit, don't they deserve it, after all they are digging up your natural resources, just a bit of sarcasm to lift your spirit. :)

Really I think it was a big mistake allowing private companies to control any of our natural resources. Because what will they want to do with that resource, exploit it and make it so vital that you come to depend on it for everything you do. They have a monopoly and because the competition likes it they all do it together. They are screwing not just us but the vary foundation of our government, I really think it is a form of terrorism on a mass scale. They certainly aren't in any hurry to find alternative energy means, unless they can make billions with it, not when they are racking in billions a year on our behalf. And who do you think pushes harder for a war where more oil is consumed then any other time... those that hold the oil stocks and control the companies.

There have been cars that have gotten 100+ miles per gallon, but as soon as some one comes up with one the oil companies and car manufactures are buying them out and not using their ideas. Now they think it's good when a car gets 35 miles per gallon when I had a Toyota Celica back in 81 that was getting 35 miles per gallon. Where is the improvement? Just recently they start coming out with their hybrids, but what's going on with them. Well they cost a bunch more, so the car manufactures are starting to jump on the bandwagon of the profit train.

Well, enough for now.
