Yay for high gas prices??

~ May 13, 2008 at 16:28 by kalong (Views: 28)

According to FitSugar, research has predicted that for every $1 that a gallon of gas rises, US obesity will reduce by 15%. This is due to us being forced to walk, bike (esp in corvallis!), or take public transportation. It may also force us to eat at home in order to avoid driving out to resturants!

I guess we should always look on the bright side of things, right? :-D

Wow! That's a really good point that I never even considered. Do you think this is part of the reason why Europeans are typically thinner than Americans?

You're right though - look on the bright side! We are becoming less and less fatties!

I heard on the radio this morning that a kid in Tennessee (or Oklahoma or one of those states over there) has been saving about $25 a week by riding his horse "Pumpkin" to school!
