Hogan's Heroes

~ 1 day ago by tiramisu (Views: 2 )

Watching Chicken Run tonight reminded me of Hogan's Heroes. I used to watch this all the time! Once when my mother was mad at me and snapped at me to get something done, I answered with Schultz's "Jawohl, Herr Kommandant!"

Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings...

This tune has haunted me for years and when I mention it to people no one has ever heard it before..... But it's real!!!! I should have known it was from the Captain Kangeroo show, we watched that EVERY day when I was a kid.

**And yes... this is the cartoon that Mike Myers based his Saturday night live skit from.
(I could not find a real shot but this is a great spoof.)

Sea-Monkey's

~ May 1, 2008 at 9:05 by mluna (Views: 50 )

Remember these from when you were a kid? My brother once got them for Christmas and I was so fascinated, intrigued and jealous.

I found them in the store recently and bought them for my "honorary" nephews for Christmas. I wonder if they liked them as much as me??

Some More "Classic" TV

~ April 22, 2008 at 8:40 by tiramisu (Views: 27 )

A couple more great -- and by great, I mean so bad they were good -- TV shows, one from the 80s and one from the 90s.

Moonlighting

~ April 1, 2008 at 9:36 by tiramisu (Views: 47 )

Does anyone else remember Moonlighting? I loved this show. It was the first thing I'd ever seen Bruce Willis in, and I was charmed from the start. Also, they had great dream sequence and music video episodes. Just plain fun to watch.
