Another Malady

~ September 25, 2007 at 18:24 by mizze (Views: 0 )

So another malady of mine is the love of critters. Yep, critters! all manner of interesting creepy crawlies. So, last night after yoga class as I made my way into my out door hot tub with my dirty Boodles martini in hand

4.5 oz Boodles Gin
1 oz olive juice
a whisper of vermouth poured over ice and then dumped out
2 olives

I was much delighted to find a little frog sitting on the lip of the hot tub waiting for me. Here's the best pict my phone camera would take in the dark of the little guy. The shiny round thing on the left is my martini glass. :)

Yeah, I know you can't see anything. But I had to share anyway.

Buon Aperetif!

How deep is my illness?

This weekend on a get away trip as I wandered into a quaint downtown shop with all manner of tsotchke I was unable to resist purchasing christmas martini glasses. Don't worry the Tannenbaum Martini will be born!

The French Cuff

No I don't mean a shirt or being smacked by a Parisian. Though having one with one while wearing one would be sublime.

1.5 oz Creme de Violette
3-4 oz Dry Champagne

Enchante!

Favorite Gin?

~ September 18, 2007 at 17:00 by robble (Views: 0 )

Until just recently, Tanqueray has been my favorite gin for martinis. However, I have discovered the greatness that is Bombay Sapphire. It is just that much smoother.

What do you prefer for your gin martini?
