So I've recently developed a thing for Basil. Who'd ever have thought that Sherlock Holmes could be sexy?
Cheers Basil!

A sophisticated drink for a great artist.

This profiles two of my favorite things.
I know that it is very trendy to have all different types of martinis now-a-days, but I am a believer of the classic gin or vodka martini. In fact, the distillery in Bend, OR agrees with me. I was pleasantly suprised the first time I went there and ordered my favorite Crater Lake Vodka martini. Normally I add the request, "super extra dry" since even a mist of vermoth is more that I like. However, the bartender replied, "We dont put any vermoth in, unless you ask for it." I was instantly hooked! Not to mention that they pour them big and strong. So, if you are ever in the Bend, OR area, I highly suggest you check out the Bend Distillery Martini lounge downtown.
