Halloween - a Remake

Okay, when I heard that someone was going to remake the original Halloween, I was not pleased. Then I found out that Rob Zombie was planning on writing and directing the film, and thought that there is the ever so slight chance that a true horror buff like him might be able to pull it off. Then I saw the trailer...this movie looks like it's going to kick serious ass! Malcolm McDowell as Dr. Loomis? Sweet!

Very good trailer, though it could stand to be about 10 minutes longer :-) Looks like Zombie is adhering very closely to the original while giving it a 30 year special effects and soundtrack update. Fortunately, it seems the original piano part remains, not that crappy keyboard part from Halloween II.
