Valentines Day Red Party

For those of you who are loveless this Valentines day, mark this event with little red hearts in your calendar. All you need to get in the door is a red article of clothing.

The event will be cosponsored by our good friends at "The Champagne Room," where the party will be held. Wear red to get through the door, drink till your on the floor.

Lost Season 4 Premier Party

Anyone alse overly excited for the Lost season 4 premier on Thursday? We will be celebrating the return of one of the best shows on TV with some refreshments and friends. Naturally, we will be doing it all while basking in the warming glow of full High Definition.

Project d204

Welcome to project d204. Project d204 is a high tech social experiment designed to expand online social networking to a place that it has never been before: the real world. Combining the social networking aspect of MyStrands with the real world fun of partyStrands, project d204 will bring together and inform people in ways never before attempted.

As often as possible, project d204 will sponsor a party. The party will be deejayed by partyStrands, which means everyone will have the oppurtunity to interact with the party.

When you go out to a party, what do you bring with you? Your ID, a credit card or two, some cash, and your phone, right? Pretty typical I would say. Now imagine that your phone was also a way in which you could take your entire music library with you wherever you went. No, not like the iPhone, better. The iphone can only carry a limited amount of songs. At a partyStrands event, your phone holds every song that you listen to. When you get to the party, all you have to do is join. From that point on, your music library and play history influences the music that is playing at that party. On top of that, with your phone you can send messages, participate in votes and trivia, and more. The whole system is free to use and is really cool.

Can't make it to the party? No worries, you can still follow along online. Through MyStrands, you can see every party running, see who is there, what they are listening to, what they are saying, and the pictures from the event. Best of all, you can see it in real time. Even better than that, you can interact with the people at the party from home.

Eventually, we will host and sponsor enough parties that on any given night, you can go to MyStrands and click on the now partying link. There will be a list of several parties. You will be able to scan through them, see the people there, check out pics from the party, etc. Then you can go to one yourself!

Venice Beach

Last week, a couple of us took a business trip down to Venice beach, CA to take part in Twiistup, an event designed to merge the technology and entertainment industries. The trip was almost as amazing as the weather in LA. The event was a lot of fun and turned out to be very successful for partyStrands, which is great considering that there were some real improvosational moments. There are some pics from the trip in the pics folder, they are the ones with gratuitous amounts of sunshine. My favorite is Tyler on the tree. Classic.

The three of us will be trying to keep everyone posted on the happenings and such in our lives as they go down. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of three successful young men. We will also be having social gatherings featuring partyStrands on a frequent basis, so make sure to check those out and participate online of you can't actually be there.
