Uruguayan singersongwriter Jorge Drexler got involved in music while learning how to play piano at the age of five Later he attended guitar and composition classes It was in 1989 when Drexler began songwriting recording his first album called La Luz Que Sabe Robar in 1992 and Radar in 1994 A year later he moved to Spain having the opportunity to perform live along with Joaqun Sabina Pablo Milans and Vctor Manuel among others After signing up to Virgin Records Vaiven was produced by Gonzalo Lasheras followed by Llueve in 1998 Later he teamed up with Peyote Asesinos Juan Campodnico and Carlos Casacubierta to make Frontera released in 1999 Drago Bonacich All Music Guide
