Germanys Project Pitchfork is an industrial band featuring vocalist Peter Spilles and keyboardistprogrammer Dirk Scheuber their sound often recalls a less aggressive undistorted Front Line Assembly They debuted in 1991 with Dhyani which was followed a year later by Lam-Bras and Entities highlights of this period were later collected on the US compilation Early Years 89-93 1994s Io eventually became the bands first American release After a layoff Project Pitchfork returned in 1998 with Alpha Omega Steve Huey All Music Guide
