Biography

Siobhan's songs reveal a depth of insight while provoking contemplation about death, change, complex relationships between humans and the natural world,and becoming attuned to cycles. Her songwriting is philosophic, imaginative and sensual. Meaningful lyrics lurk solidly behind dynamic rhythms. Visiting China a few times to study acupressure, ride the Yangzti River and volunteer at Wolong Nature Reserve, the largest panda conservation center, served as an incredible musical inspiration for this CD. With a love for flora/fauna and study of the cosmos, Siobhan's songcraft has universal appeal. Composing songs with her guitar and keyboards, Siobhan has been called, "A MUSICAL PRIESTESS WHO INVOKES A SENSE OF THE SACRED." On some songs Siobhan is accompanied by skillful flute, bass, nimble lead guitar and dynamic percussive grooves.
