Biography

Heading up rock bands since the mid-90s and embarking on a solo career in 2001, Emmaline (pronounced Em-a-leen) Muchmore establishes herself as a singer-songwriter powerhouse with her second full-length CD release "Just a Cherry". She has been compared to Annie Lennox, Fiona Apple, Nikka Costa, and Shirley Manson. While her voice certainly lives up to these comparisons, Emmaline has a style that is distinctly her own. Her intelligent, groove-infused pop has gained the attention of labels and management companies in the states and elsewhere. Emmaline and her band played live regionally in support of her first CD "Inviolate" and she will begin playing live in support of "Just a Cherry" this year.
