Biography
Chica is a group of three Latinas – Emille (Puerto Rican), Monique (of Mexican descent) and Lynnette (of Puerto Rican descent). These International recording artists bring life into a moment with their presence and music. Emille Gandara. Born in Puerto Rico, Emille Gandara always had music in her heart and home. By nine years old, she was recording radio and TV jingles and had done a few children’s albums. Monique Ximenez. Raised in Sacramento, California, of Mexican descent, Monique Ximenez could often be found “composing” childhood songs on her family’s antique piano. Monique always knew her future would include performing and writing songs. Lynnette Collazo. Of Puerto Rican descent, Lynnette Collazo landed in Chicago where she grew up. She found herself standing on stage singing her first solo at age six.
