Showcasing their musical ability, their songs combine pounding riffs, rolling swing rhythms, and searing lead guitar. Their acoustic side reveals their tunefulness, melody, and intricate harmonies.

Starting out as a teen band from Corvallis, OR, The Stack has become much more than that. Through gigging throughout Oregon to gain a following and their devotion to music, they have become a true musical force with a unique sound and look. Never ones to follow the musical trends of the day, they stuck to their roots and mastered them.
The Stack's first album, 2004's Slipstream, shows that they can play something for everyone: heavy rock (The Way You Want), their twist on blues (The Apple Song), fast danceable swing (Swing Madness), and even an epic jam (Into The Sun). They are currently at work on a follow-up record.
"Listening to their gorgeous vocal harmonies, tight, memorable riffs and willingness to take risks ... I found myself wishing for a time machine to travel forward five years and hear what they're doing then." - Jake TenPas, Corvallis Gazette-Times
