Biography

Currently a 4-piece outfit, the band Winfield concentrates on the premises of key- boards sometimes guitar, clean also distorted, and soft then hard (see also: rhythm versus lead). Because the band is proud of their heterogeneous nature, it is not always easy to describe the overall sound. Having been subject to adjectives such as "experimental," "poppy," "new-wave," "rock," and "kind of good," Winfield always strives for progression and innovation. Their versatility also allows them to play with many types of bands (punk, folk, emo, dance, rock, electronica, pop, crescendo, etc.), and makes them appealing to a very wide variety of music listeners.
